Support Sonie's Studio and Sweetheart!

To know Sonie Gibson is to love her!  Sonie is one of the most compassionate and loving people you will ever meet.  She constantly pours herself into the lives of all of her students at Sonie's School of Dance & Tumbling, but also is a dedicated wife to her husband, Doug.  Sonie affectionately calls Doug her "Superman," as he has overcome so many trials over the years.  This includes TWO organ transplants, (one of which was a kidney that Sonie donated herself!,) along with 2 major strokes, double digit surgeries, and an arterial bypass in his leg.  Unfortunately, Doug received more disappointing news in terms of his health this past week.  The arterial bypass that Doug had on his right leg has now occluded, leaving the doctors with no option but to amputate his right foot, and potentially his entire leg.  As you can imagine, Doug and Sonie are devastated.  They also do not carry health insurance as Sonie is self employed, so thinking about the costs of an impending surgery is causing undue amounts of stress on the both of them.

As if the news of Doug's amputation wasn't enough, Sonie has had to suspend lessons at her studio for these past several months as a result of the virus outbreak, eliminating the vast majority of their income since Doug is on disability.  Sonie would NEVER ask or agree to taking any outside support from anyone, but we know that there are so many people in the community and beyond that love Sonie and would want to help if they knew all of this information.
