Support Yul's Gymnastics Comeback

Hello everyone,

I am Vlad Kolomiza. I have known Yul Moldauer since I was 7 years old. We trained together at 5280 Gymnastics, and we have stayed super close over the years, practically brothers.

If you have not heard yet, Yul was suspended for 16 months for not showing up to three WADA anti-doping whereabouts tests. Let me be clear, he did not fail a drug test; he failed a procedure. EACH DAY, an athlete on the national team has to report where they stay, train, travel, compete, and an hour window of when they can be drug tested in an app so they can be drug tested on any given day.

This past year, Yul traveled all over the world competing at multiple gymnastics competitions representing Team USA, which caused two of the missed tests. The final missed test happened a week after the Olympic trials when he was on vacation, taking a mental break because he missed the Olympic team by half of a tenth (that is less than a half a step on a landing), and unfortunately, he missed his final test for the year. Because of this, Yul was automatically suspended due to WADA policy.

However, Yul has NEVER failed a drug test in his life. Those who know Yul know that he would never taint or cheat his body or his gymnastics career by taking any kind of sports-enhancing drugs. Yul doesn't even take ibuprofen. Yul shows up every single day to better himself & his community by working extremely hard and being incredibly disciplined. Gymnastics is his passion and his livelihood. Yul means more to the gymnastics community than his awards.

He is now suspended from competing in any gymnastics competitions and also cannot continue to be paid by the USOPC for 16 months all because of this procedure. That LOSS in funds totals to at least $40,000. The purpose of this donation is to support Yul Moldauer and compensate for his losses. This has nothing to do with taking sides with WADA or USADA.
