We are organizing this fundraiser to support Shiva, an international student living in Montreal, Canada, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

In just a short period of time, her life changed completely. She is now preparing for urgent treatment and chemotherapy while facing overwhelming medical and living expenses. Unfortunately, she currently does not have RAMQ coverage, and so far her insurance has not reimbursed or approved any of her medical expenses.

Her first chemotherapy session is scheduled for May 20 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Montreal, and she is trying to prepare emotionally, physically, and financially for the difficult months ahead.

Funds raised will help cover:

• Cancer treatment and medications

• Fertility preservation before chemotherapy

• Medical appointments, imaging, and tests

• Transportation and daily living expenses during treatment

• Emergency financial support during recovery

Shiva needs support from her community during one of the most difficult moments of her life.
