Hi, I’m Morgan, a proud Black student from Long Beach, California, and I’ve recently been accepted to the University of California, Berkeley to pursue my dream of becoming a doctor.
Growing up, I didn’t always see people who looked like me in medicine. That absence fueled my determination to change the narrative—not just for myself, but for others in my community who deserve to feel seen, heard, and cared for. Being admitted to UC Berkeley as a pre-med student is more than an achievement; it’s a step toward breaking barriers and building a future where healthcare is more inclusive and equitable.
However, this opportunity also comes with financial challenges. As I prepare to take this next step, I’m asking for support to help cover the costs of tuition, housing, and essential resources so I can fully focus on my education and journey into medicine. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings me closer to turning this dream into reality.
