To whom it may concern. Many of you may or may not know that I suffer from Crohn's Disease (autoimmune disease that sets up in the digestive tract causing inflammation, ulcers, tissue scarring, etc. feel free to research) and have been for some time now, 10 years to be exact. Recently my journey with the disease took a turn for the worse. I was informed that my colon had become so inflamed that it was killing me and must be removed asap. The surgery to remove my colon is set for (Wednesday 02/07/18). This news hits extremely hard as my fiancé and I are set to welcome our first child into the world in just a few weeks, meaning I will most likely miss her arrival while I am recovering from the harsh surgery. While dealing with that will be hard enough, it will be harder knowing that I will not be able to properly provide for my family when she arrives or in the near future due to long recovery times. To make matters worse, my fiancé was laid off from her job due to downsizing and her impending maternity leave. Those that know me best know that i would do anything for my family, including putting pride to the side an asking for aid. I am asking friends, family, and anyone who can sympathize or empathize to please help in our time of need. Please and Thank You.
