We were supposed to be celebrating the beginning of our empty-nest years together.

Instead, we’re fighting for Rob’s life.

If you know Rob De Leon, then you know what devotion looks like.

He’s a devoted husband, father, friend, and musician—someone who always shows up for others with quiet strength, loyalty, and a light-hearted laugh. He brings people together through his music, his kindness, and his unwavering generosity.

Now, Rob is facing the biggest challenge of his life:

Stage 4 metastatic colon cancer.

How It Started

In May 2025, during a camping trip near the Grand Canyon, Rob started getting sick. We assumed it was a short-term issue—bad water or camping food. But by June 8, Rob was unable to eat or keep anything down. A CT scan at Urgent Care revealed a mass between his small intestine and colon. He was immediately admitted to the hospital.

A colonoscopy confirmed it was cancer.

On June 11, Rob underwent emergency colorectal surgery to remove:

• The tumor

• A section of his colon and small intestine

• His appendix

• Several lymph nodes

At first, we were told it was Stage 3. We were stunned, but hopeful.

In late July, additional testing—PET scan and Signatera bloodwork—revealed the cancer had spread to:

• Lymph nodes throughout his abdomen

• Two tumors in his liver

That brought the diagnosis to Stage 4 metastatic colon cancer.

The average life expectancy? 2–3 years.

We’re not okay with that.

Why We’re Asking for Help

This is now a fight to give Rob time—time with his family, time to heal, time to live.

Rob and I are both small business owners. Every appointment, scan, treatment, recovery day, and ER visit takes a toll on our finances. Despite our best efforts to keep working and serving clients through it all, there are days when Rob’s body simply needs rest.

We’re pursuing every option to give Rob the strongest chance at recovery:
