Reece has always been the kind of person who shows up for everyone else. Whether it’s lending a listening ear, being the first to buy a ticket to your event, or sharing encouragement on social media, he is a pillar of support for so many in the Rochester community. Through his work with Rochester Black Pride, providing a safe space during the BLM protests, feeding the LGBTQIA++ community, founding Diamond Strength Entertainment, his work in the Leather community, and producing many beautiful pageants, Reece has touched countless lives. In yet another step to make the world a better place, Reece has been tirelessly pursuing a nursing career moving from one achievement and level of success to the next.

Recently, Reece faced unimaginable hardship. A house fire took everything he owned, leaving him without a home or basic necessities. This comes after a period of tremendous personal loss—he has lost his Mother and Aunt in recent years and just lost his dad in the last several weeks. Despite these challenges, Reece continues to give back to his community and show up for others, even as he faces his own struggles.

The funds raised here will help Reece secure temporary and, hopefully, long-term housing. They’ll also go toward replacing essential work items like scrubs and educational materials, as well as clothes and furniture once he finds a new place to live. Reece has always been there for his community, and now he needs his “family” more than ever. While nothing can truly replace what he’s lost, we can come together to lighten the load and show him he’s not alone.
