Hi, my name is Jasmin Melendez, and under unfortunate circumstances, my family and I are having to create this GoFundMe. Yesterday, 3/31/2025, my uncle Rafael Vargas had a terrible accident while at work, which has left him in critical condition; he is currently fighting for his life. He suffered a severe TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury), punctured lungs, and broken ribcages. He is presently not under stable conditions, so the doctors are not recommending surgery as they don't know how extensive his injuries are. They had to transfer him from the Hospital in Agua Prieta, Mexico, to a hospital in Nogales, which is more equipped to treat him in his current state.

Right now, my uncle needs the best care he can get, and unfortunately, the hospital bills will start to pile up. Not knowing what the outcome will be, we want to be able to raise funds to help my aunt and cousins out during this difficult time to cover whatever medical expenses may be thrown their way. We wholeheartedly ask if you can find it within your heart to donate; please do. Ayer, 31/03/2025, mi tío Rafael Vargas tuvo un terrible accidente en el trabajo, que lo ha dejado en estado crítico; actualmente está luchando por su vida. Sufrió una lesión cerebral traumática severa (TBI), pulmones perforados y costillas rotas. En este momento, no se encuentra en condiciones estables, por lo que los médicos no recomiendan cirugía, ya que no saben la extensión de sus lesiones. Tuvieron que transferirlo del hospital en Agua Prieta, México, a un hospital en Nogales, que está más equipado para tratarlo en su estado actual.

Ahora mismo, mi tío necesita la mejor atención posible, y desafortunadamente, las facturas del hospital comenzarán a acumularse. No sabiendo cuál será el resultado, queremos poder recaudar fondos para ayudar a mi tía y primos durante este difícil momento y cubrir cualquier gasto médico que pueda surgir.
