Prayers and Support for Noah

Our sister Jenifer and her husband Kyle are expecting a precious baby boy, Noah, in late December.  At this sweet boy's 20 week sonogram, Jenifer and Kyle found out he has a very rare condition called Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia.  This is a condition in which  a hole in the diaphragm allows abdominal organs to move into the chest, which prevents the lungs from developing normally, resulting in pulmonary hypoplasia. Since this news, they have visited a specialist in Shreveport who ran many more tests to diagnose the severity of his condition only to find out that his case is just about as severe as it can be.  Noah's lungs have scarce to no lung tissue at all due to how far up his stomach organs actually are.

Jenifer and Kyle are patiently awaiting a very important upcoming trip to Houston where they will meet the surgeon who will deliver our Noah and perform his necessary surgeries once born.   Jen and Kyle will also be moving to Houston in less than two months (they want Jenifer there no later than her 32 week mark) in order to be close to where Noah needs to be.  Once Noah arrives, they will need to be in Houston for quite a while in order for Noah to undergo all vital surgeries and to begin developing lung tissue and get stronger.  We are unsure at this point just how many surgeries will be needed to help him get better.  We know this little man is going to be a fighter and show us all just how strong he is. We are praying for a miracle and have all the Faith in our God and His plan.

We are asking our family, friends and anyone who wants to help to please support our sister, brother-in-law and our sweet sweet Noah as they begin this extremely hard journey.  Anything you can give will be used for Noah's medical and Jen and Kyle's living expenses while in Houston.  And above all else, please pray.  We serve an almighty God and we know and beleive in the power of prayer.
