Hello!
My name is Nori, and I am having gender confirmation surgery on March 7th, 2017 in San Francisco, CA. I am very excited to be able to move through the world with more freedom in my body (AKA yoga pants), but am also nervous about the intensive recovery process and financial challenges that the surgery also brings.
In order to recover from this intensive surgery, I will be out of work for at least 8 weeks and perhaps even longer. I am filing for short-term disability to help pay my expenses during this time. The most I can expect is $300 every two weeks based on my taxable income, and this amount can in no way cover my expenses living in the Bay Area.
For this reason, I am asking friends and loved ones to consider sending financial support to help cover my living expenses for two months during my recovery. These living expenses include: rent, utilities, food, bills, & medical costs associated with recovery. Thank you so much for considering to offer your financial support, and I wish you so many blessings in your life.
With love,
Nori
