Hi, my name is Johannah, and I’m raising funds for my brother Jeremiah, a 35-year-old Marine veteran, a devoted husband, and a loving father to two young children.
Five years ago, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Jeremiah faced one of life’s biggest challenges: a brain tumor diagnosis. So while the world was shutting down, he was undergoing a 13-hour-long intensive brain surgery. He fought through that incredibly dark time with strength, grit, and the unshakable resilience that he developed during his years of service in the Marines.
But now, five years later, heartbreakingly, the tumor is back.
This time, Jeremiah needs ongoing, specialized treatment in North Carolina, which requires traveling from his home in Pittsburgh every 3 to 4 weeks. The emotional, physical, and financial toll is immense for him, his wife, and their two young children.
Why We’re Asking for Help
Jeremiah and his wife Kristen are doing everything they can to provide stability for their family during this storm. But the expenses from travel and lodging to child care and uncovered medical bills are piling up fast.
Your donation will help ease that burden by covering:
• Medical treatments and prescriptions not fully covered by insurance or the VA
• Gas, tolls, and hotel stays for his treatment trips to North Carolina
• Meals and incidentals while away from home
• Childcare and basic living expenses while Jeremiah is unable to work
• Peace of mind, so his family can focus on healing instead of bills
A Marine. A Fighter. A Family Man.
Jeremiah served his country with honor and discipline and now, he’s fighting for his life all over again.
He’s not just a veteran. He’s a loving son. He’s a dad reading bedtime stories, a husband trying to stay strong, a brother who never asks for help but always gives it. This time, we’re asking for him.
Please consider donating if you’re able, and if you can’t, sharing this page with your friends, family and network is just as valuable. Also, feel free to add prayers and words of encouragement!
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
With gratitude,
Johannah and Family
