WHO AM I?
I am a music producer, singer and instrumentalist based in Los Angeles. I'm starting this GoFundMe to help support upcoming music releases that I'm dreaming of! I'd like to release 2 singles and a 4-track EP before the end of the year.
Los Angeles Music Project (LAMP) described me as: "Classically trained as a vocalist and pianist, MariGo uses her masterful musicality to take her productions to fresh and unexplored territory. Drawing on hip hop, R&B, and indie rock influences MariGo weaves her tracks into a rich and playful tapestry of vibey, laid-back beats."

WHY DO I NEED FUNDS?
Writing and recording a song can take a lot of time, effort and resources. After a song is complete, it takes even more time and resources to put it out into the world. To have an opportunity to compete in the music industry, it is a huge help to have music professionally mixed and mastered; however, this can cost hundreds of dollars per song. Then, each song or album needs artwork and video. After that, music must be submitted to blogs, labels, etc., which often requires additional fees.
I'm hoping to release 2 singles in the next few months, followed by my second EP which will have 4 songs. I would love to raise enough money to have all 6 tracks professionally mixed and mastered! Anything beyond that will go towards photography, video, and artwork for the releases.
Your support would mean the world to me! As we all know, trying to make a living from music is challenging . . . especially in the beginning. I've been working very hard at this and know I have made some big strides in my songwriting, singing and production. Professional mixing and mastering will help take my music to the next level, and I will be forever grateful for your assistance in reaching this goal!

Mari Sullivan (MariGo) is a Los-Angeles based music producer, vocalist and instrumentalist. "Classically trained as a vocalist and pianist, MariGo uses her masterful musicality to take her productions to fresh and unexplored territory. Drawing on hip hop, R&B, and indie rock influences MariGo weaves her tracks into a rich and playful tapestry of vibey, laid-back beats." After years of training and performing in a classical capacity, Mari yearned for more creative freedom and different tools to write and perform her own music. In 2016, she began producing in Ableton Live . . . the music has been flowing ever since!
MariGo recently joined all-female record label, Unspeakable Records. She was featured in December (2017) as Unspeakable Records Artist of the Month . Mari released her debut EP, Flying at Night, in January 2018.
Mari performs her music live throughout Los Angeles with drummer, Aron Silverstein. She has collaborated and/or shared the stage with distinguished artists, including Daedelus, Baths, and Team Supreme members Goodnight Cody and Mike Parvizi (of Penthouse Penthouse). Mari also manages revolutionary LA-based opera company, Pacific Opera Project.
