El 4 de octubre, nuestro Tío Meme (Manuel) falleció trágicamente en un atropello con fuga mientras caminaba hacia la tienda al otro lado de la calle de su casa. La policía investiga activamente su caso y busca al responsable de este crimen que ha causado un profundo dolor a nuestra familia.

Mi Tío Meme era un querido hijo, hermano, tío, sobrino, primo y amigo. Era el alma de la fiesta, un hombre de familia y muy querido por todos los que lo conocieron. Estamos devastados y enojados por cómo terminó su vida de forma tan inesperada.

Aunque mi tío siempre estuvo rodeado de amor, vivía solo, y solicitamos el apoyo de la comunidad que lo amó para los preparativos de su funeral.

Esperamos poder mandarlo a su pueblo en Guatemala, para que descanse en paz con su madre, su padre y sus hermanas. Agradecemos todo el apoyo en estos momentos y pedimos oraciones por su eterno descanso.

On October 4, our Tío Meme (Manuel) was tragically killed in a hit and run on a walk to the store across the street from his home. The police are actively investigating his case and looking for the person who committed this crime that has caused deep grief to our family.

My Tío Meme was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was the life of the party, a family man, and deeply loved by all who knew him. We are devastated and angry about how his life was ended so unexpectedly.

Although my uncle has always been surrounded by love, he lived alone, and we are asking for support from the community who loved him for his funeral arrangements.

We hope to send him back to his home of Guatemala - to be laid to rest with his mother, father, and sisters. We appreciate any and all support in this time and for prayers for his eternal rest.
