#SupportLocalGranthis (DFW)

WJKK WJKF, My name is Gurjot Singh and I am currently a junior at Reedy High School, Frisco.  These unprecedented times have led to lots of hardships for many people around the globe! We all must do our part to support local community. Our Panth has always shown unity and resilience during tough times. There’s a need now to help those people that have guided us for years with Katha and Kirtan and taken good care of our place of worship. The Granthijis of our Gurudwaras are in need of our support. With no regular diwans at Gurdwara, sangat not visiting, and no other programs/events for them, their source of income is seemingly less than in the past. In almost all cases, they have family back home in India and/or here that they are solely responsible to support. This is the time each of us need to do our part to support them. I humbly ask you all to help and donate as they need all the support, we as a community can give. 

Me and my team are hoping to collect $15000 which will be equally divided and given to following Granthijis, but we are starting with initial goal of $7500. We are optimistic that DFW Sangat will support and encourage us to reach our final target.
