Many species of birds and animals thrive in this diverse climate, but the Nicaraguan people are not thriving.
In the poorest nation in Central America, almost 80% of people live on less than $2 a day. More than half the population lives beneath the poverty line. One in four Nicaraguans is starving or suffering from malnutrition.

Nicaragua needs encouragement.

My team will partner with local ministries to bring hope to the disheartened. I will connect one-on-one with people in desperate need. I have the oppurtunity to provide for undernourished families through community development programs and outreaches.
