Save Kerry's Spine from CCI & help her recover!

Kerry Anne Sheehan is 35 years young and in dire need of a spinal fusion surgery to stabilize her cervical spine. Kerry also has Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), which is a rare disease that requires her surgeon be specially skilled and able to work with EDS patients.
Kerry has been blessed to find an incredible surgeon who has accepted her as a surgical patient - however he is located in Maryland and Kerry will need to travel to Maryland and stay locally for the first fourteen days of her recovery.
Without this surgery, Kerry's spine will continue to deteriorate and she will likely suffer further loss of the use of her legs and arms, making her current use of a wheelchair permanent.
If you've ever met Kerry, you know that she's a unique soul shining a bright light in this often scary and lonely world. She brings a special energy to our world and she deserves the very best medical support.
After an exhausting many years long journey facing EDS, POTS, Gastroparesis, Endometriosis requiring numerous surgeries, and this cranio-cervical instability (CCI), Kerry is now also dealing with severe chest pain and pressure on top of everything else she's already had to handle.
All we want is for our awesome and amazing Kerry to have the support she needs to get this lifesaving surgery. Insurance is covering the medical costs and we are so appreciative of that!!!
But staying out of town while recovering from a complicated spinal fusion procedure requires that we stay close to the hospital in a CLEAN and QUIET environment conducive to healing. The first chance to heal is always the best chance to heal and we need Kerry to be safe and comfortable after her spinal fusion.
Every dollar contributed counts more than you can imagine and every share of this GoFundMe is appreciated beyond words. Thank you so much for helping us (Kathleen and Jess) as we support our beloved Kerry!
