Jimmy Erbe's Medical Recovery Fund

 Many have asked how they can help our brother Jimmy, so we decided to set up this Go Fund Me account to allow people whom want to help him and his wife Kathy. All donations made on this site go directly to Jimmy and Kathy to help with medical related expenses.  No contribution is too small, any amount is greatly appreciated.

Jimmy has spent over a month in ICU at Miami, FL Mount Sinai hospital, which he was transported from Marathon, FL hospital after initial thoughts he might have kidney stones. His diagnosis was a very brutal and invasive staph infection causing excruciating pain, multiple surgeries, and no lower body movement. After a tough battle the Mount Sinai medical team has him recovering slowly in the positive direction, and he has some sensation in his thighs and can wiggle his toes.  We are grateful.

His next step is rehabilitation to walk again.

Jimmy must be medically transported to Kessler Rehabilitation in West Orange, NJ from Miami, FL.  There he will receive the best Physical Therapy possible for spinal injuries and be closer to friends and family for support.

Kathy, his wife whom is a hospice nurse has been by his side despite their home is in South Carolina.   In addition to the cost of the medical transport, there are additional expenses all related to his care that have mounted in excess of insurance coverages.  Kathy herself has helped so many families with loved ones through difficult times, and we need to show she is loved too.
