Support Jess' Reach to Remission

For all who know my beautiful sister, would know what a fit, young, healthy, dancer she is. Recently married, she like many 27 year old women had planned goals ahead of her, most of which were put on hold when she received the devastating and unexpected news on the 26th January 2018. News that she was diagnosed with Primary Systemic Non-Hodgkins Mediastinal Sternum Lymphoma; a rare and aggressive type of cancer.
No one could prepare for such sudden and overwhelming news. Within days of diagnosis, Jessica had to mentally prepare herself to embark on a long road ahead to recovery, which included admissions to hospital for six-month long treatment of chemotherapy and regular weekly hospital appointments. This sudden life changing hurdle, along with the drastic adjustment to her lifestyle - not being able to work or dance which is what she enjoys most; has been most difficult for Jess.
While Jess has come a long way, there remains a long road ahead. Although Jess' courage, strength and positive mindset has helped her to power through this journey so far, along with the amazing support from her family and friends, I have started a fundraiser to continue to 'Support Jess to Reach Remission'!
I have chosen to start this fundraising page as a gesture to my sister to help her with medical expenses for her treatment, along with financial support throughout this challenging chapter.
Thank you in advance for your kind gestures, donations and support for Jess! Every little bit will make a big difference in helping Jess to get back to a familiar lifestyle.
My goal is to keep this a surprise for Jess until we have reached the goal!
