Supporting Cody

It is with a very heavy heart that we our letting our cheer family know about a young man who needs our help.  I'd like to take a moment to introduce Cody to everyone.   Cody was part of our CheerForce Kryptonite team this season.  Cody and his teammates were preparing for their final competition of the year, the prestigious Summit,  when he was diagnosed a few weeks ago with Hodgkins Lymphoma; cancerous lymph nodes in his neck and chest.   Cody is an incredible young man, who is courageous, loving, kind, and a friend to all who meet him.   While news of this kind would be difficult for anyone to receive, Cody has handled it with the strength of someone far beyond his years.   When even the strongest of adults would have difficulty controlling their fears and emotions, Cody instead, chose to speak to  the entire CheerForce family with words of courage, heart and hope.   He is a role model to so many, and we want him to know that we are beside him on every step of this journey.   Cody begins chemotherapy this week and we hope and pray that we can take some of the financial burden from him... something no 18 year old should be dealing with.  We ask that you keep Cody in your prayers, and if you are able help him with a donation of any size,  our gratitude would be beyond measure.
