Frankie Vasfailo IV is a 16-year-old sophomore in high school with big dreams of attending college and building a successful future. This fundraiser has been created to support his college education and help give him the opportunity to pursue those dreams.
Frankie’s story is one of unimaginable loss and resilience. At just 3 months old, he tragically lost his father, Frankie Vasfailo III, one day before his christening. Now, at 16, he has lost his mother, Gina Crisitello-Vasfailo, who passed away on April 6th after a courageous battle with stage 4 colon cancer. Frankie will now be living with his grandparents, who are stepping in as his guardians and support system.
Despite everything he has faced, Frankie continues to shine. He is an excellent athlete, a talented golfer, and an aspiring college football player with a strong drive to make the most out of his life.
Gina was truly a light in this world. She had a heart of gold, brought joy and laughter to everyone around her, and had a way of making people feel loved and supported. She lit up every room she walked into and was always there for others without hesitation. Her love for Frankie was everything.
In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to help support Frankie’s future and carry forward Gina’s legacy. There is no better way to honor her life than by helping her son achieve the dreams she always had for him. Any contribution, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated. Thank you for your love, support, and generosity.
