Elijah is a 10 year old Bakersfield boy who has beaten the odds. He was adopted by his mom Jeri 10 years ago. He was expected to live only a year, but the good Lord has kept this joyous little boy around to bring many smiles to the faces of Kern County. But this holiday is a sad one for Elijah. On Saturday December 22 his mom Jeri passed away from cancer. This boy has been a very special part of my life and I want to make sure he's taken care of going forward. I hope you will find it in your heart to help. The money will be used to help with Elijah's everyday expenses, and to support his family and funeral expenses for his mom.
