Zuki is just two years old, full of life, and has already faced more challenges than most dogs ever should.
She lives with severe hip dysplasia, a painful condition that affects her mobility and comfort every single day. Despite this, Zuki has remained happy, loving, and resilient. Recently, however, her journey became more difficult — she has now ruptured her cruciate ligament and urgently requires TPLO surgery on her knee.
This surgery is not optional. Without it, Zuki faces chronic pain, instability, and a significantly reduced quality of life. Because of her existing hip dysplasia, keeping her knees strong and stable is absolutely critical to her long-term health and mobility.
The total cost of her treatment is estimated at £4000-£6000, which includes:
• Specialist TPLO surgery
• Post-operative care and medication
• X-rays and ongoing assessments
• Physiotherapy and hydrotherapy to rebuild strength safely
This treatment offers Zuki the chance to live without constant pain — to walk, run, and enjoy the life every young dog deserves.
This fundraiser is about awareness and compassion. Any support, whether through a donation or simply sharing Zuki’s story, helps give her that chance. Every contribution goes directly toward her medical care and recovery.
Thank you for taking the time to read Zuki’s story and for supporting responsible treatment for dogs living with lifelong conditions. Your kindness truly makes a difference.
