Zackary McFarland was a son, brother and most importantly, a father. His pride and joy being his 14 year old son, Gavin. Zac had a kind heart, he was funny and passionate. He loved his family and skateboarding, live music and his dog Penny. Zac proudly served in the National Guard. He had a tough exterior but a very tender heart. He was 36 year old young man with his whole life ahead of him.

Zac struggled with many of life’s hurts, hangups and habits but kept turning them back over to Jesus. He battled life’s choices and challenges daily.

On Tuesday December 16th, Zac suffered from cardiac arrest that left him incapacitated in the ICU. Unfortunately, as a result of loss of oxygen, Zac was unable to survive on his own. He is an organ donor and is awaiting people being lined up to receive his donations.

With this sudden loss, Zac’s family is unprepared to cover all the expenses of laying a loved one to rest.

A Celebration Of Zac is being held at Normal First Assembly of God Church at 11am on Saturday December 27th 2025.
