Hello everyone, this is Alex, Zach's older brother. I am launching this GoFundMe for my brother to help raise money to cover the medical bills accrued from Zach's time in the ICU battling COVID/double pneumonia.
Zach's journey began in November, with a cough that wouldn't go away. In hindsight, doctors say Zach most likely had walking-pneumonia, and that he just wasn't aware because it's so normal for Zach to struggle with winter seasonal allergies. On Christmas Day, Zach started running a fever and that following Wednesday he tested positive for COVID. Saturday, New Years Day, Zach's oxygen numbers dropped to 82 and he was rushed to the hospital. Eventually Zach was intubated/put on a ventilator and put into a medically induced coma. Doctors gave us grim expectations, and wanted us to prepare for Zach's possible passing. But we knew the Lord is Good and that He is Faithful to those who He calls His. For 6 days we prayed for healing as Zach's body fought for his life. After 12 days in the hospital, and 6 days in a coma, our prayers were answered and Zach was brought out of his coma and the ventilator was taken out.

Recovery is slow but moving forward well. I (Alex) started this GoFundMe to help Zach pay medical bills as he continues to heal, gain his strength, and slowly get back to work. Being a Realtor is Zach's passion AND it also means he is not being paid will recovering. If you feel so called, please consider donating to help with Zach's medical costs so that he can focus on healing and recovery.
Many Blessings,
