Supporting Xander DeLeon Beat Medulloblastoma!
Donazione protetta
We have made this page in an effort to help our sister Yanaila (Laly) through a very difficult time in her life. Many of you already know her from childhood, school, work and through us, her siblings. Laly has always been the sweetest most generous human being. She has spent most of her life making sure everyone around her is cared for by constantly pouring her love and support onto them in any way she could. She is a loving single mother of three beautiful little boys, Xavier (8), Xander (5) and Xavian (3).
On Monday May 16, 2022, Laly received news that no parent should ever have to endure. Her middle child Xander was diagnosed with a brain tumor the size of a golf ball in the lower back of the brain, the cerebellum. The cerebellum is involved in muscle coordination, balance and movement. Within 24 hours, Xander underwent a six-hour emergency surgery to remove the mass. He’s now facing a long road of recovery and treatment that includes radiation and chemotherapy.
Xander is a real-life Superhero! His favorite kind of people are the Minions and his favorite color is red. He’s also very much into Legos and Sonic the Hedgehog. He enjoys reading and playing with his brothers. And upon waking from surgery, his request was jiggly jello.
On May 20th, after further studies, he was subsequently diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a cancerous (malignant) brain tumor. With the help of God, Pediatric specialists, Oncologists, Nurses, family and friends, he will still face a long battle of aggressive treatment.
Please help us in supporting this wonderful mother, daughter, and sister and her family in this time of need. All donations will go directly to helping Laly and Xander with any and every expense that will follow from this difficult situation they are in. Xander will need his family on his road to recovery and every donation will help allow this to happen.
