We here at Basin Brew Fest are all about giving back to the community. In the last several years, we've raised close to $80,000! This money has been put towards the Block 27 grant (Lawrence Park in Morgan City, LA) to help revitalize it and restore various aspects of the park.

Well we pretty much dodged the proverbial bullet a few weeks back with Hurricane Francine. Thankfully the storm didn't make landfall to our west as predicted. This saved us quite a bit of damages.

Well...fast forward to the present. Hurricane Helene came onshore with a vengeance in the Big Bend area of Florida. Helene continued into the Southern Atlantic states and just absolutely drenched many large swaths of several states. The sheer volume of rainfall caused extreme flooding and left many scrambling for higher ground.

One of those places happens to be the Craft Beer Capital of the Eastern USA. Asheville, NC has almost 30 breweries calling it home! These breweries support nearly 1,000 jobs. Sadly, many of those workers are dealing with damages at home and, of course, at their place of employment caused by Hurricane Helene.

We here at Basin Brew Fest have partnered with the Louisiana Craft Brewers Guild and the North Carolina Brewers Guild to raise money for the NC Brewers Foundation 501c3 to ensure the funds raised end up with the breweries and their employees affected by this devastating storm!

Our t-shirt sales have launched. Go to the following link and order a shirt and maybe even pickup the glass as well.
