If you live in McCloud, CA, you likely knew William “Wild Bill” Hess as a pillar of the community and a beloved neighbor and friend. Jill and Asher need our help now more than ever.

The evening of October 5, William passed away. In April, William was diagnosed and subsequently treated for Glioblastoma (GBM), a rare and aggressive brain cancer. Surgeons removed a lemon-sized tumor from William’s brain. Almost overnight, William lost most mobility and vision on his left side, making it nearly impossible for him to continue working. The chemotherapy and radiation that followed further took their toll.

Jill and Asher need our help during this difficult time. There are medical expenses not covered by insurance and those associated with hospice care, memorial needs, and security for Jill and Asher as they embark upon a difficult life change. In addition, building savings for Asher's education is an important goal.

Throughout all of this, William and Jill have been moved by the outpouring of love, support, and prayers you have shared.  They are grateful for friends and family, near and far, who have reached out to offer help. Anything you can contribute is greatly appreciated.
