Supporting Will & Lou

Donation protected
Will and Lou have been excitedly expecting baby Henry William this coming July. However, on February 21, their pregnancy journey encountered challenges beyond what anyone could have imagined. While visiting family in California, Lou was rushed to the Emergency Room in extreme pain, where she learned that her water had fully broken at just 18.5 weeks gestation. The official diagnosis is preterm prelabor rupture of membranes (PPROM), which puts them at higher risk of infection and preterm labor. They're currently back in Nebraska, where Lou is on bedrest and doing everything in her power to protect baby Henry's fragile health.

Will and Lou have had to incur financial costs due to out-of-network medical visits (including three ER visits) and will continue to incur more costs in the weeks to come. The road ahead for them is uncertain, and we anticipate additional financial strain (additional medical bills, gas to drive two hours each way to see specialists in Omaha, extended childcare for big sister Althea, and more).

We are gathering donations to help provide funding for both known and unknown expenses over the next few months so that they have one less thing to worry about and can keep all their attention on Lou and Henry's health. Whether or not you are able to contribute at this time, we'd ask everyone to keep Henry, Lou, Will, and Althea in your prayers as they navigate these next few weeks and months.
