Supporting Weston’s Battle
Donation protected
Hi I am Weston uncle trying to help Weston, his mom and dad.The brave little man Weston completed his first round of chemotherapy a few days ago, and it didn't go as well as we expected. Weston continues the fight and needs all your prayers and his parents need our support. Weston is home for a few days before they head back for round two next week. Rounds three and four start mid-December. They are basically living at the hospital, and there is not much we can do physically to help them due to his immune system. Please consider helping by donating to go fund me or buying a shirt to help relieve some of the financial burden (links below). Nobody should have to go through this, especially a child!
Let’s show them a huge support system, and we are all here for you!
You can also purchase shirts supporting Weston’s fight.
His fight is our fight!

#3 update
Today Weston was discharged from Mott from his first round of chemo. He is by far the strongest person I know. Cancer is such a horrible disease especially in children. The chemo meds that are given are what we give adults just in higher doses. Weston was doing great but then we had some complications that extended our stay to 22 days. when we started chemo he had a runny nose which turned into a cold that he still has since his numbers are just coming back up. He then developed a severe skin rash to one of the drugs. Then he ended up getting E. coli. Also was getting fevers non stop. For the most part he still wanted to play expect for 2 days where he was miserable. It’s hard to watch your child go through all this treatment to save his life. The staff on the floor are some of the most amazing people we have met. We are home till Tuesday then we start round 2. We learned a lot this round so we hope round 2 will be a little better for all of us.
Update #2
Today we went for a MRI and to get a dx of the tumor. His tumor did grow by 2mm since his surgery. Which I take as a positive since before surgery it doubled in 3 weeks. Our oncologist told us that Weston has a very rare tumor which means not a whole lot of information on it. Since the tumor started to grow she wants to start treatment next week. We will be going to U of M for inpatient chemo and will be there for 7-10 days. We are not sure how many rounds he will need just depends on how the tumor responds. Our oncologist thinks this type of tumor will respond well. She has a treatment plan for him and makes us feel confident about her and his treatment. The team is also very impressed that he is using his arms and legs equally since he did have over 40 seizures since were admitted till we left. We love each one of you for your continued prayers and positive vibes.
if you can not donate to Weston please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. ❤️
