Update: Unfortunately, Veta succumbed to her health related concerns and was called home Tuesday 3/19/2024. She leaves behind her 3 daughters with her youngest being 16 years old. On Friday 3/15/2024 my mother was admitted into the emergency room due to a low heart rate. What I assumed to be routine medical visit became the most earth shattering news of my life. Since being admitted, she’s underwent cardiac arrest and loss blood supply to her kidneys and is currently on a ventilator fighting for her life. I am asking for my communities support as my family and I make sense of it all. My mother has been a mother to everyone she’s came in contact with. I’ve seen my mother take care of and give to everyone, from my closest friends to strangers, even when she had nothing. If you know her, then you know this to be true. The money raised will help assist with medical expenses, and other household bills, as well as support her youngest daughter Jasmyn, who is just 16 years old, as she continues to fight for her life. A letter to my mommy. Momma, me, cami and jasi love you so much mom. We want you to come home so bad so we can continue all the things we were doing. We miss you mommy we love you so so so much.
