After a long illness, my Uncle Sammy passed away Monday July 27th.
My Uncle Sammy enjoyed traveling in a camper, playing guitar, listening to many genres of music, motorcycle rides, the mountains of Colorado and he wanted to, one day, own a boat with a cabin sleeper. He also had a love for animals, especially their dogs. His wit and laughter will always be remembered. I was fortunate enough as a young man to travel with him and share some great experiences that will forever hold a special place in my heart.
My hopes in starting this fundraiser is to support my Aunt Cindy (his wife, retired Police Dispatcher), and cousin Ashleigh (his daughter, who is currently a Police Dispatcher). They are now incurring major transitional financial costs associated with the passing of a family member, including impending medical bills due to his ICU stay. I am reaching out to all those that can help support their family in a time of need. Due to his unexpected loss, my Aunt will lose that additional income and be forced to clear their property and sell her house. Any and all support in this major undertaking will be appreciated.
To give you a little more insight on my Uncle Sammy, in late 1989, Sammy attended the Travis County Sheriff’s academy and was employed with the Round Rock Police Department until January ‘99. At the time of his passing, he made his living transporting parts. He was inventive, passionate, and the king of sarcasm. He believed in giving to those in need and bestowed that lesson in his daughter.
My Uncle Sammy was only 57. and he was too young to leave us, but we know that he is now with his loved ones that he’s missed so much. Thank you for taking the time to read this and we would greatly appreciate any and all financial support you may be able to provide.
