Tyrell is 40 years old and lives in Fargo, North Dakota, with his wife, Amanda, and their two young boys (Corbin, 10, and Connor, 7). He is a graduate of North Dakota State University; was a Sergeant with the Fargo Police Department (where he worked for ten years); a contributing member of the Fargo community; and a fantastic fiddle player.

As many of you are aware, Tyrell has been fighting Stage 4 Glioblastoma Brain Cancer for the past 3 years. He unfortunately had a recurrence in January. Other treatment methods were attempted but were unsuccessful. Tyrell entered Hospice care in June and is enjoying the remainder of his time on earth surrounded by family and friends. The weight of this outcome is heavy on all our hearts, but their family’s faith is strong and will carry them through this difficult time.

Our hope is that family, friends, colleagues, and community members can help support Tyrell and his family through this final chapter. First, through prayers for peace, comfort, and understanding. Secondly, with the opportunity to offer any amount of financial assistance to help cover remaining medical bills, ongoing bills, home health care needs, final expenses, and the many other unforeseen expenses that are sure to arise.
