I'm T'Nae Parker, and I'm initiating this GoFundMe for my friend Travis Bernard Douglas, who was diagnosed with breast cancer a week before Christmas. Over nearly two decades of friendship, Travis has consistently brought joy, love, peace, and positivity into my life. Beyond being a cherished partner, son, brother, uncle, and friend, Travis is also an award-winning hairstylist and the co-owner of Resilience Beauty Box with his best friend, Demetrius Cunningham.

Despite the rarity of breast cancer in men, Travis faces this challenge with courage. Thanks to early detection and the excellent care provided by physicians at Prisma Health, Travis has a positive prognosis. On Monday, February 26th, Travis will undergo a lumpectomy and single mastectomy, necessitating at least 4-8 weeks off work and resulting in a significant loss of income during that time. This GoFundMe aims to provide financial support during his recovery. Additionally, I'll be organizing a meal train for those who wish to contribute in that way.
