On the weekend, while traveling by motorcycle to visit friends in Tulum, our dear friend Tony Sassine and his girlfriend were involved in a tragic accident. They were struck from behind by a semi-truck, causing both of them to be thrown from the motorcycle. Tragically, Tony’s girlfriend lost her life. May her soul rest in peace.

Tony survived the accident but sustained multiple serious injuries and is currently hospitalized in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. He is facing a long and difficult road to recovery that will require ongoing medical care, medication, and rehabilitation.

In addition to the emotional pain and trauma from this tragedy, Tony is now facing significant financial burdens related to his medical treatment, recovery needs, and funeral expenses. Being far from home has made this situation even more challenging.
