Supporting Toni Ostrander Whelan

Hello! My name is Theresa Buckley Hamel and I am organizing this GoFundMe for my best friend of over 54 years, Toni Ostrander Whelan.

 

Anyone that has had the pleasure of knowing her knows immediately that Toni is a wonderful, warm, hilarious, and generous person. Toni's personality is larger than life. She is truly a friend to all. She is always the one to offer help to those in need and has always been more than happy to provide any assistance she can.

 

Now is the time that she and her family need your help.

 

As many of you are aware, Toni was diagnosed with Breast Cancer 4 years ago and underwent a double mastectomy on March 15, 2018. Following the double mastectomy she underwent both Chemotherapy and Radiation treatments. Unfortunately, her cancer has recently metastasized.

 

Toni has been a very hardworking, dedicated hairdresser for almost 40 years. In that time she has served many, many clients that she has always considered to be her friends. Due to her current condition and treatment plan Toni is no longer able to do the job she loves so much. Her husband, Chuck, is a Cameraman but has been devoting his time to taking Toni to and from all of her appointments as she cannot drive, and has been by her side constantly.

 

Your donation, however big or small, would be incredibly helpful to Toni and her family. Toni is an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and your donation would help alleviate the financial stress she is currently under. What a gift it would be to help her and her family be able to focus solely on her care!
