Supporting Tom's Queer Artistic Journey

Hello everyone!

My name is Tom, and I’m currently in my final year at SNDO in Amsterdam, pursuing my studies in choreography. Four years ago, I took a big leap by moving from Paris to Amsterdam to follow my passion for dance, leaving behind my artistic network. This journey has been incredibly rewarding, but it has also come with financial challenges.

As a student over 30, I don’t qualify for government support, which has made balancing work and study difficult. To support myself, I have been working as a chef while studying. However, this year has been particularly challenging as I am currently doing an internship that is both vital for my education and financially demanding.

I’ve set a goal of €3,000 to help cover my tuition fees for the 2024/2025 academic year (€2,530) and one month of rent. This support will allow me to focus on completing my studies without the constant worry of financial strain.
