Tom Pluemer’s wife Jodi was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer in the summer of 2024. Since then, Jodi has not been able to work, and the Pluemer family is relying on Tom’s income alone to stay afloat. Jodi’s illness has placed a large financial burden on his family, and they do not have any nearby family members to lean on to help with childcare and appointments.

Tom continues to lead the BRI engineering team without missing a beat. Tom is an invaluable resource to the BRI and to the Great Lakes Region, and we would like to show him and his family how much we appreciate him.
