Tish & family, rebuild and heal after the devastating fires

Dear Family and Friends,

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Luisa Acosta, and I’ve had the privilege of knowing Tish for the past 25 years. Our children have grown up together—she is the Godmother to my daughter, Melina, and a wonderful “auntie” to my son, Joaquin. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of witnessing Tish flourish in her career and business. She is one of the kindest, most generous, and selfless people I’ve ever met.

Her dear friends, Tamala and Danielle, can also attest to her many incredible qualities. Together, we can all agree that she is one of the most positive, resilient, and loving women we’ve ever known—and I know many of you feel the same way.

As most of you are aware, the recent LA fires have devastated our community. Even those who weren’t directly impacted are feeling the deep ripples of this tragedy and seeking ways to help those who have lost so much.

Our dear friend Tish has suffered an unimaginable loss. Like so many Angelenos, her home was taken in an instant, leaving her with nothing but the love and support of her family and friends.

So many of you have reached out to Tamala, Danielle, and me asking how you can help. Each of us represents countless people whose lives Tish has touched in beautiful, meaningful ways. Now, it’s our turn to stand by her. After much thought and reflection, we’ve decided to create this GoFundMe as a way for all of us to come together and show Tish that she’s not alone.

Tish has always been someone who quietly and selflessly supports those around her. Now, it’s time for her to be on the receiving end of that support.

The funds raised here will go directly to Tish, allowing her to use them however she feels best—to rebuild, to heal, or even to pay it forward, as so many are trying to find their way.

This isn’t about telling Tish what she needs—it’s simply about showing her that she is surrounded by love, care, and community during this difficult time.
