This is the worst thing I can imagine doing right now, I don't even know how to write this. I wish I didn't have to.

And still, in the wake of Charlie's tragic passing, his wife and our dear friend Tiffany is forced to confront some of the uncaring facts of life going forward and we want to do all we can to help.

Unfortunately, because he was young and healthy and no one plans for something like this, Charlie didn't establish a will before he left us. Aside from losing her husband, we have to remind Tiffany that she's lost a considerable portion of her monthly household income.

With this fundraiser, we are hoping to provide her with enough money to cover the loss of his income for three months while she grieves and takes the time to evaluate and recalibrate her living expenses. Furthermore, since there is no will, she is going to spend the next several months in probate while working through assuming his estate, which will come with legal fees and ultimately include some tax liability she will likely stand to inherit as well.

The last thing anyone wants to talk about right now is money, but the bills aren't going to stop to honor our grief and so we humbly ask you, Charlie's friends, family, acquaintances, loved ones, and friendly strangers, to contribute to this effort to support Tiffany during this time so that money may be the last thing she needs to worry about.
