Supporting Tierra and Family

Hi, My name is Kezia Everett. I’m making this Go Fund Me for my best friend Tierra Williams. Tierra and I have been best friends for over 20 years and through that time I’ve watched her overcome some of the toughest battles, as strong as she is things have just become a lot to handle. I’ll tell you a little about my friend, Tierra has two beautiful boys who she adores, Nymir and Zarah, Zarah being the baby, and the main reason I’m reaching out for help on her behalf. Zarah who she recently found out has Cerebral Palsy and has been struggling since birth was rushed to Duke Hospital over the weekend after she woke up to him in the middle of the night having seizures and a temperature of 107•F. After running several tests we were told that baby Zarah has Meningitis, and an infection in his bloodstream, which is a lot for just a tiny baby. Tierra who also has health problems herself stayed by her baby's side day and night while doctors evaluated him and due to all of the stress of his diagnosis and life itself, Tierra also has fallen ill and was admitted to the hospital. Tierra is unable to be by her baby's side which has now put even more stress on her. Before all of this occurred Tierra was in the process of moving out of her apartment, the rent was raised substantially making it impossible for her to afford it. While Tierra does work full time, lately, she has had to miss lots of days due to Zarah having three different therapy sessions a week as well as doctor's appointments that are critical for his development. I would like to help with finding her and the boys a new home while also ensuring that she doesn't have to stress about bills for a while so that she could focus on her and baby Zara's Health. I'm asking if everyone who comes across this post can empathize with her, being a single mother myself I couldn't fathom being faced with so many obstacles at one time.
