As most of you know, Theresa has spent the last week in the hospital fighting for her life.
By the grace of God, she is making huge strides in her recovery, but now comes an even harder battle.
Theresa has been in the hospital for weeks, and the costs are piling up. As her friends, family and community we are asking that we rally around her and show her support!
On February 11th Theresa was admitted to NCMC with the flu, she missed several days of work due to her sickness. She went home and after just a few days she started feeling worse than ever before. She was readmitted on the 22nd and there she was diagnosed with pneumonia. Her condition quickly went from stable to severe. Within 2 hours the morning of the 25th she went from 90% lung function to 20%, she was struggling to breath and the doctors had no choice but to intubate her, put her on a ventilator, and into a drug induced coma, this was all done in an effort to help alleviate some stress on her lungs. After hours of this not working they decided to transport her to a hospital in Denver that was better equipped to handle her quickly worsening condition. At this time the doctors asked her family to prepare for the worst.
The transport ambulance took her to St. Josephs late that evening, they admitted her to ICU and over the course of the next 2 days she made tremendous strides! She is currently still in IU at St. Josephs and is not expected to leave for at least another 5 days. She is growing stronger daily but still has a long road to a full recovery. She will be unable to return to work for quite some time, will have physical therapy and many follow up visits.
In addition to financial support please keep praying, this is a long journey and she will need love and support from all of us!
Thank You for your donations, your shares & continued prayers.
