Newest update 8/24/25:

Sandy has completed a round of treatments in Mexico and has been back home making some summer memories with her family and friends. Her treatments have helped her feel better, control her pain, and also seem to have slowed the growth of the cancer. She is able to continue these treatments at home, but they need to purchase some equipment in order to do that. She also needs to continue monthly medications/supplements that cost around $300 a month. I have decided to raise the goal of the fundraiser to try and help them purchase the equipment they need and to continue to help with their monthly costs. They are also facing some additional challenges because Sandy is unable to work right now and her husband Isaac is between jobs and looking for stable income. It is a lot of challenges all at the same time and they appreciate all your help and prayers.

Original Post: Our good friend Sandy Workman, has recently been diagnosed with cancer. She currently does not have health insurance and we all know that modern medicine is so expensive! She has already had a biopsy and now has some upcoming tests (CT, Bone Scan) and could use some help with medical bills. Once they have more information and a treatment plan, I will update the fundraiser amount based on the treatment that they choose. But I would love to help raise enough to reduce their financial stress as they go through this difficult time.
