Mary is a loving mother who is kind hearted, caring, and a very loyal Christian who has been a big part of her church community. She lost her husband 2 years ago around this time and she has been taking care of her children, Jeanie and David by herself. After her husband passed away, she had to commute via the metro to work to continue providing for her family.
On 12/27/2023 around 7:50 PM at Huntsman Blvd. and Bridle Wood Drive in West Springfield, Mary was walking back after work when she was struck by a vehicle, leaving her in critical conditions. The person who was driving fled the scene and left her on the ground, outside. After an unknown amount of time, some witnesses saw her and contacted 911 where she was first evaluated in the emergency department at Fairfax INOVA. Trauma to the brain, multiple fractures in the spine are just a few of the many injuries Mary sustained. Mary is currently fighting for her life in the hospital and we ask for your help by continuously praying with us and assisting with any donations.
