Our community is coming together to support a local Fort McMurray family who has recently experienced a heartbreaking and unexpected loss.

My dear friend Erica tragically lost her husband, leaving her to navigate life and grief while caring for their young boy. This sudden loss has brought not only immense emotional pain but also unexpected financial challenges for the family.

During this incredibly difficult time, we are hoping to ease some of the burden by raising funds to help cover immediate expenses, time away from work, and the ongoing needs of Nolan’s children as they adjust to life without their father. One of his sons also resides in Newfoundland, adding additional family considerations during this time of loss.

Erica is a loving mother and an important part of our community, and now she needs the support of those around her more than ever.
