On March 19, Owen and Erica’s world changed forever.

Owen was diagnosed with Stage 3 advanced lung cancer, news that has deeply impacted their young family. Since then, life has become a blur of appointments, scans, and treatments, all while doing their best to keep life steady for their 11-year-old son, Noah, with school and on the soccer field.

Owen has paused his university studies to focus fully on treatment, and Erica has stepped back from work to be by his side and manage his care. The road ahead is tough: Owen is scheduled for a major surgery to remove his right lung, followed by chemotherapy. Recovery will be long and challenging, but Owen is facing it all with incredible strength and courage.
