Supporting the Waldrops Through Unforeseen Loss
Donation protected
On the morning of Saturday, January 13, 2024, I got a phone call that no one wanted to hear. Jacob Waldrop unexpectedly passed away at home due to a sudden and unforeseen medical issue. Our family is in shock at such a tragedy, and we’re still finding ways to process this. I’m starting this campaign to help my sister and her boys.
If you know Jacob and Katy, you know they were best friends. You know his faith and you know his sense of humor. You know ‘the boys’- Micah, David, Isaac, Caleb, Joseph, and Sam. Jacob was such a positive force in his community and his family.
These funds are going to support immediate funeral expenses, emergency medical expenses, childcare, food and lost income.
Things will be very difficult and very different from now on, but the Waldrops are strong and they will move forward.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
Many of you have already given generously and Katy and her boys are so grateful. The boys were able to go shopping and get new clothes for the funeral. They are so proud to have such a supportive and loving community.
Any amount you can donate is appreciated, and if you can’t please help spread the word. If you are interested in other ways to help, please contact:
