With profound sorrow, we share the passing of Bronco Gabe (Ernest Gabriel Vigil AKA Bronco Warrior AKA Spike!)—a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, brother, and friend. His loss has deeply shaken all who knew and loved him, especially his family who are now walking through an incredibly painful season of grief. Gabe is survived by his wife (Cyndi), his four children (Gabriel, Emilio, Lovena, and Athena), one precious grandchild (Lucy), his mother (Mary), and his sisters. This loss comes after the unimaginable heartbreak the family endured with the unexpected passing of his beloved son, Jullien Carmine Vigil, in 2022.

While the family’s hearts grieve deeply, they take comfort in the hope found in Christ that death is not the end. They pray that Gabe has been reunited with his son and his late father, Ernest S. Vigil, and is now resting in the presence of the Lord. Scripture reminds us in 2 Corinthians 5:8: “We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” Though the family clings to this promise, the days ahead remain incredibly difficult. Alongside their grief, they are facing the unexpected financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses, as well as the ongoing needs of a household now missing its provider, protector, and spiritual covering.
