Our school community is growing, and that’s something worth celebrating! Year after year, more families choose our school because of the incredible programs we offer and the dedicated teachers who meet students where they are, build their confidence, and help them find success. The growth we’ve experienced is a direct reflection of the hard work, care, and commitment our educators bring to school every day.
As our student population has increased, so has the demand for classroom space. To accommodate additional classes, many teachers now share classrooms or travel between multiple teaching locations throughout the day. For some educators, there is no longer a true “home base” on campus—a dedicated space where they can prepare lessons, organize materials, collaborate with colleagues, or take a moment to recharge before supporting the next group of students. Because some classrooms are used all seven periods of the day, teachers cannot remain in their rooms during their prep period or lunch break without disrupting the instruction taking place there. Instead, teachers rely on a handful of office and workroom spaces to grade assignments, plan lessons, make copies, collaborate with colleagues, meet with support staff, and enjoy a quick lunch before returning to their students. While these spaces serve an important purpose, they are often furnished with only the bare necessities—plain walls, a few desks or tables, and donated furniture that has seen better days.
We would like to transform one of these areas into a warm, welcoming, and functional teacher workspace—a place where educators can work productively, collaborate with colleagues, and take a few moments to recharge during a busy day. Funds raised will help us create comfortable collaboration areas, add warm paint colors, install window film, improve lighting, and make the space more inviting. While this project will directly benefit our teachers, the positive impact ultimately reaches our students. When teachers have a supportive space to plan, collaborate, and recharge, they are better equipped to bring their best selves into the classroom each day. Unfortunately, school funding is limited and does not cover projects like this. That’s why we are reaching out to our community for support. Whether you are able to donate or simply share this campaign with others, your generosity will help us create a space that shows our teachers just how valued they are. Thank you for helping us invest in the educators who invest so much in our students.
