I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support for Rylie Martin and her family following a tragic and life-altering accident.

In an instant, this family’s world was turned upside down. Rylie is suffering from serious injuries including blunt force trauma to her skull, resulting in brain bleeds and a severe skull fracture while taking part in one of Vermonts most common activities for children and families during the winter months.

Their fun filled weekend at a local family playground/sledding hill ended early in such tragedy both VallaRee (mother) and Rylie have yet to return home to their family. Rylie was rushed by emergency personnel for critical emergency medical care and is now undergoing treatment in the Pediatric ICU for ongoing 24/7 monitoring and in-patient recovery. While she is incredibly brave, the road ahead is uncertain she is now facing constant medical care, frequent appointments, and an uncertain road to recovery. No family is ever prepared for something like this—emotionally, physically, or financially.

As they focus all their energy on caring for their daughter and being by her side, the financial burden continues to grow. Between medical bills, travel expenses to and from appointments, potential therapies, time away from work, and everyday living costs, the stress has become overwhelming.

I am asking for help to ease that burden so this family can focus on what truly matters: their little girl’s healing, comfort, and well-being. Every donation—no matter the amount—will go directly toward:
