UPDATE***
It is with immense sadness that Vanessa and I share with you all the news that our dear, sweet Jude passed away, just after midnight this morning. This is the most heart breaking thing we have ever experienced. Just this past Tuesday morning we were shoveling snow together before school, and now he is gone.
We are grateful beyond words for your all your love and support over these past days. We read all your messages and are thankful for them, even if we do not respond.
Throughout all of this we have felt the nearness of our God. Ultimately it is God who is sustaining us. We don’t understand this bitter providence He has sent our way, but through tears we say, “The LORD gave, the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.”
We are finding solace in the fact that Jude is now with Jesus, and has entered into the joy of his Master. One day, by faith, we will be go to be with him again. This is the hope our faith in Christ gives us to journey through this immense sorrow.

Due to overwhelming support for this amazing family, we had no choice but to start a Go Fund me where people can contribute and show their love.
On Tuesday, December 1st 2020, sweet Jude Strickland, 11 years old, was walking home from school when he was tragically struck by a vehicle.
As the days move forward the Stricklands need our continued prayers and if you feel led, this is the place where you can donate to help them with any costs they will incur from this terrible situation.
Please continue to pray for the Strickland family that they will continue to feel the love of God and the support from the community. We serve a mighty God!
